2015 Toyota Tundra Performance

2015 Toyota Tundra for the 4.0 liter V-6 has been removed from the lineup. This leaves a 4.6 liter V-8 rated at 310 horsepower and 327 foot-pounds of torque and the top line 5.7 liter V-8 good for 381 horsepower to and 401 foot-pounds of torque. Gas mileage is not a strong point of the 2015 Toyota Tundra is gaining grades below the average in the range of engines. Toyota says that the real world gas mileage is on par with Ford and GM trucks despite the EPA rates. In our time behind the wheel of the 2015 Toyota Tundra in both 4.6 liter and 5.7 liter V-8 form mileage-Vehicle reported rarely rose above 15 miles per gallon load rural driving. Our real world experience has been better fuel mileage in other full-size pickups with similar capabilities. No load on the city streets both models V-8 feel about it – quite fast with decent low-end acceleration but they run out of steam as speed increases. Laden with a tow 8,000 pounds ahead so the 5.7-liter V-8 is the choice however face the challenge of reaching highway speeds the length of a typical entrance ramp despite a maximum towing capacity of up to 10,400 pounds – 10,000 pounds and in most models. In our experience the 2015 Toyota Tundra despite its rating and greats spec-sheet it does not feel as safe or as fast as alternatives GM and Ford to tow large loads especially when the bigger engines V -8 of each brand are on the drawing 2015 Toyota Tundra.
