The 2020 Cadillac CT6 is a luxury large car with comfortable seats, powerful engines, and comfortable driving. For 2020, the Cadillac CT6 is available in three trim levels with two different engines. The basic luxury decoration gets a few added standard features, while the mid-range Premium Luxury garment is now fully loaded. 2020 Cadillac CT6 Features
The standard CUE infotainment system includes a 10.2-inch touch screen, physical controls for climate and sound, and a rotary knob on the center console. Despite all these options, the system can be difficult to navigate. The menu system runs multiple layers deep, and the voice controls are not as intuitive as those found in other luxury vehicles.
Standard entertainment technology includes dual USB ports, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, satellite radio, a premium eight-speaker Bose sound system, and charging for wireless devices. Features available include a premium 34-speaker stereo Bose and a rear-seat entertainment system.
2020 Cadillac CT6 Interior
The CT6 comes standard with leather upholstery, front seats with 14-way power adjustment, memory settings for the driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Comfort features available include front seats with 16 or 20 power settings, front passenger seat memory settings, ventilated front seats, front seat massages, heated rear outer seats, and heated steering wheel.
CT6 and Car Seats for Kids There are two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the rear outer seats and the upper-middle seat belt. The CT6’s interior is filled with high-quality materials such as genuine leather. However, some panel materials are more in line with what you will find in a non-hub, and the center console is too low to rent for this class.
2020 Cadillac CT6 Engine
CT6’s premium and mid-range Premium Luxury come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that generates 335 horsepower. This engine has enough muscle to make the CT6 speed up the city and on the highway. Platinum’s high-performance and performance-oriented CT6-V model comes with a new 4.2-liter V8 engine for 2020. The Platinum engine produces 500 horsepower, while the CT6-V version produces 550 horsepower. All the engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, which usually allows for smooth changes, but sometimes struggles to get the right gear. Models equipped with the standard V6 engine deliver 18 miles per second in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, which is below average for a luxury large car class. EPA estimates for models with an optional V8 engine are not available at the time of writing.
2020 Cadillac CT6 Safety
Many advanced safety features are standard, including a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, crash alert, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, following distance indicator, lane-keeping assist, lane departure alert, lane change alert, monitoring blind spot, rear cross-traffic warnings and windscreen wiper rain. The Teen Driver system and the safety driver’s seat are also standard. Available Cadillac Super Cruise Technology is a semi-autonomous driving system that allows smooth driving on compatible highways and under certain conditions, although you should always focus your attention on the road. Other additional safety features include auto parking, night vision detection, adjustable cruise control, automatic emergency braking, active rear steering, header screen, 360-degree parking system, and pedestrian detection.
