The 2020 Jaguar XF Sedan is available in four main versions: Premium, Prestige, Checkered Flag Edition, and S. The 2020 Jaguar XF Sportbrake wagon is only available in Prestige and S versions. The 2020 Jaguar XF Prestige is based on the standard set of Premium trim features, while the new edition of the Checkered Flag adds advanced security items, along with cosmetic touches inside and out. The S equipment includes almost all of Jag’s available features, including maximum engine performance.
The Jaguar XF 2020 is an interesting alternative if you are looking for something a little different from a typical German luxury sedan. In addition to the greetings of this British carmaker, the 2020 XF offers a high level of comfort and accommodation for passengers and cargo. It usually costs a few thousand dollars less than the competition.
2020 Jaguar XF Interior
Thoughtful, pleasantly spacious, and integrating several great features, the interior of the XF has most of the features of high society. But less than lavish leather quality and limited standard equipment clash with Jaguar’s otherwise palatial presentation. When you turn on the XF, it’s a theatrical experience to watch the turntable turn from the center console and the outer air vents open. These tricks, plus the lights on the touch map and dual-zone climate control are the standard price. However, the leather surfaces of our test car looked mediocre and felt rough. The leather interior of the fire engine was irresistible, and the seats in black and red looked, well, sticky.
Every 2020, the XF has a version of Jaguar’s InControl Touch Pro infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. Customers can upgrade to the version with navigation and 4G LTE mobile hotspot. The center screen of the InControl Touch Pro unit has customizable settings and allows multiple types of touch gestures. A powerful 825-watt Meridian sound system with 17 speakers is also available. Although it shared the highest boot volumes with the BMW 5-Series, the XF held one lower payload than most of its rivals. Maximum lift height and limited interior storage space save his aspirations as an ideal travel companion.
2020 Jaguar XF Engine
The 380hp V-6 is the king of the XF monarchy, but is slower than most high-performance rivals and lacks auditory authority. A pair of smooth turbocharged four-cylinder engines provide alternative drive options. Each engine is mated to an excellent eight-speed automatic transmission; an all-wheel-drive system with a torque vector is also available. In our testing, the four-cylinder engine was significantly quieter than the refueling alternative. His acceleration times, however, were much slower than comparable rivals. Unlike some competitors in this class that have hybrid powertrains, the XF now only offers gas engines after Jaguar dropped the previously available four-cylinder diesel engine. In our testing, these engines did not meet the expectations set in the EPA. So far, we have only tested the 247 hp XF 25t engine on our 200-kilometer highway route.
2020 Jaguar XF Safety
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Road Safety Insurance Institute (IIHS) have not tested the XF system crash. However, the Jaguar sedan has standard driver assistance technology, with a satisfactory choice of optional safety equipment. Key features include forward collision warning and automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and reverse crossing warning, as well as lane departure warning and lane maintenance assistance for 2020 Jaguar XF Sedan.
