The 2020 Lotus Exige is a British two-seater sports car, made by Lotus Cars. 2020 Lotus Exige is a superbly designed sports car, the Lotus Exige Sport 350 adds V6 power to a lightweight sports car to create one of the best steering cars on the market. Being small and positively anorexic with incredibly mechanical settings, she communicates the environment in a way that only Lotus can. The Exige is a rocket ready that shares its chassis and interior with the Elise. It has a fixed roof, various body plates, and a rear wing to increase power. For those interested in an overall toy with tracks, the Exige is a great choice, but only masochists would use it as an everyday driver.
The 2020 Exige range has changed quite a bit over the years, but now it starts with the 345bhp Sport 350, before moving to the 410bhp Sport 410, and is complemented by a 430bhp track-focused focus. The Lotus Exige is, without a doubt, one of the best sports cars on sale today, and it’s about outstanding handling. The steering aid and light body make it one of the most attractive cars to drive, while the rugged V6 engine provides plenty of driving. The new shortened gear ratio and exposed gear link now feel great, allowing you to really get the most out of a 3.5-liter V6-charged engine. Lotus offers two more Exige models: the extreme Cup 430 and the Exige Sport 410 that stands between this and the ‘standard’ Sport 350.
2020 Lotus Exige Interior
Inside, 2020 Exige is looking very aggressive and stands out much more than the Porsche Cayman on the road. The interior of the cabin is exhausted and almost identical to that of the Elise, with lots of folding devices borrowed from major manufacturers, slim racing seats, and exposed aluminum. But as the price of the Exige has climbed over time, you seem to be getting a pretty basic cab for the money.
The cabin goes with modern luxuries like electric seats, an adjustable steering wheel and a steering column with a touch screen, but Lotus offers a convenience package that adds a glass of extra sound. Air conditioning is also available as an accessory. The Exige is a strict two-seater, but the cabin is spacious enough not to rub your elbows. Just don’t expect it to be too comfortable, and the seats are pretty sturdy.
2020 Lotus Exige Engine
The Lotus Exige equipped with a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 Sport 350 offers 345bhp, offers acceleration, pushing now 1,125kg of the sports car, the Sport 350 version is 51kg lighter than the old Exige S – from 0-60mph in just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 170mph. It doesn’t sound tonally like Cayman’s flat-six, but it certainly delivers a lot of low revs and high revs. The increase to the Sport 380 adds an extra dose of performance, with an additional 30bhp and even less weight. It wins from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds – two tenths faster than the Sport 350.
2020 Lotus Exige Safety
The 2020 Exige S has a driver and front passenger airbag and ABS with stability control, but this is important for safety aids. Exige 2020 is based on Elise, and despite the higher price, you cannot get more security kit for your money. Lotus has never had the best reputation for reliability since many gremlins have crept in after several months of ownership, most people do not buy 2020 Lotus Exige for the regular drive.
