2020 Maserati Ghibli Interior
Inside, the cabin is not as luxurious as expected. Several interior parts stand out from the smaller vehicles within the Fiat-Chrysler product range. It uses the same window switches as the Jeep Cherokee and the light switches and steering column handles from the now-unreleased Chrysler Town & Country. Customers, however, can spot the Ghibli on beautifully sewn leather and silk seats, faux pocket straps, and a wood-paneled steering wheel. The trunk of the Ghibli is larger than the E-Class or A6, but the BMW 5-Series offers slightly more space.
All 2020 Ghibli models come standard with an 8.4-inch entertainment system, a touch screen that has a glossy display and runs a modified version of Fiat-Chrysler’s brilliant Uconnect software interface. Navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Apple CarPlay / Android Auto integration are all standard features. An eight-speaker audio system is standard, but audiophiles will be happy to know that Maserati offers two different premium systems as upgrades. The first is a 10-speaker Harman / Kardon installation that adds $ 1,000 to the price of the basic Ghibli and Ghibli S; the Bowers & Wilkins 15-speaker sound system costs $ 2,000 and is optional on GranLusso and GranSport models only.
2020 Maserati Ghibli Engine
The 2020 Ghibli comes with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 with 345 hp with rear-wheel drive; The S performance version has 424 horsepower, rear-wheel drive, and offers all-wheel drive as an option (Q4 in Maserati speech). Both engines have an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Ghibli lacks a basic four-cylinder model, its EPA fuel economy ratings are tier than the average mid-size luxury car. Rear-wheel-drive models receive city ratings of 17 miles per hour and highway 24 mpg; If it goes on all-wheel drive, the city rating drops to 16 mpg. We haven’t tested the Ghibli on our 200-mile highway economy road, but we plan to update this review when the opportunity arises.
2020 Maserati Ghibli Safety
Ghibli safety features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assistance, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has not conducted crash tests on Ghibli, but it has the Road Safety Institute (IIHS). Ghibli did well in the IIHS crash tests but missed the Top Safety Pick label because the agency has yet to test the 2020 Maserati Ghibli’s headlight performance or driver assistance characteristics.
