The 2020 Mazda Miata MX-5 is a small lightweight two-seater roadster and comes in three levels of racing: Sport, Club, and Grand Touring. The car icon of the 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata is not an exaggerated value, as its legacy spans more than 30 years, and cheerful driving manners have always been its strongest character. Miata’s four-cylinder engine delivers just enough power to feel sharp, and its chassis is wonderfully balanced, perfect for closing through winding sections of the road. There is also a soft-top convertible model and a solid top-folding one called RF, so with one customer, fun in the sun is available.
The 2020 Miata’s cabin is narrow for two, and cargo space is limited, but not made for road travel; It is designed for energetic solar voltages and trail days. The fact that it is still one of the cheapest ways to get into a sports car convertible only adds to its appeal. Middle-class equipment achieves the best balance of features and performance, especially now when it comes to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration as standard. Although the Miata is available with an automatic transmission, we believe it is best equipped with a sharp and cheerful six-speed manual.
Miata boasts a touch screen entertainment system that is enhanced by an easy-to-reach control button and hard buttons on the center console. Each Miata comes standard with a Bluetooth connection as well as a CD player. Navigation is standard for Grand Touring and an add-on installed by vendors on Club models – added via Mazda SD card. HD radio compatibility is also included. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard for both Club and Grand Touring models.
2020 Mazda Miata Interior
the cabin is comfortable for two adults and includes only bare necessities. While some might categorize the interior as a spare, types that are completely glass appreciate the business priority of the steering wheel, pedals and gearboxes, and the refreshing basic accommodation. With a few cubes, not to mention a small case, Miata barely recognizes the need to bring your own personal belongings. Then, its Lilliputian dimensions make several promises in terms of practicality. Meanwhile, the Subaru BRZ and the Toyota 86 twins are absolutely tearing down the Miata when it comes to cargo space; their folding rear seats allow owners to get four-wheelers and full-size tires between the boot and cab.
2020 Mazda Miata Engine
The Miata engine has the agility and is powerful enough to provide acceleration. Exploring the personality of this particularly looking engine is encouraged by the easy-to-change direct manual transmission. Even the optional one automatically impresses, with fast shifts and sporty programming. The soft top model ranged from zero to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds in our test; a slightly heavier RF-model of the hard drive needed 5.8. The Miatas rides tight and can run into a ride over a fast sequence of bumps. The Club’s mid-level stiffer shocks and springs bring back the toughest midfield ride, though none of the Miata drive badly. The handshake is impatient, and Miata immediately changes direction.
The 2.0-liter engine manages relatively high EPA economy numbers and outperforms them in the real world. On our 200-mile highway test route, the soft top Grand Touring model delivered 36 mpg and the hardtop RF Club at 37 miles per minute, both equipped with Mazda’s excellent six-speed manual transmission.
